Child Portrait Sessions
Being a #momtog I have loads of photos of my kids. It’s true. Not only do I love to look back on photos, my children really do to. These little people inspire me to slow down and record the every day moments. The in-between moments. The little details. They also inspire me to capture their personalities and how they change as they grow. With my eldest, I have been successful at doing a birthday shoot for her each year to document these changes. For my second, I am a little behind. I’m the second child in my family, I know what it’s like, 😂.
Document the small changes
Sadly, I didn’t get around to photographing my baby on her 2nd birthday this summer, but I think we’ve made up for it today. She was supposed to be getting her photo done for picture day at daycare today, but missed out due to a fever. She was pretty upset while watching her big sister get dressed up, including getting her hair done all fancy. To make it up to her, once big sister was off to school, we got her dressed in her school photo outfit, tights and all (she’s obsessed with tights right now) and went into the studio to play. She is a natural in front of the camera and took direction better than some of my older subjects! So proud ;) Here are a few of my favourites. I know they’re all going to make an appearance on our walls!
