The past few months I have had a surge in the amount of head shot clients. And I have to say, I LOVE it! When I first started to get into photography, I had big dreams of becoming a traditional portrait photographer. Along the lines of Fine Art Portraits. 😁 So when I get to do branding sessions, I get a little giddy because it is like a traditional portrait but with a little flair. Anyway, I digress!
Devin and Cole were additions to a team whose head shots were done in our studios earlier in the year. They arranged to come in one morning and we spent a half an hour creating some looks that show their personality.
At first they said they were totally nervous (sorry for spilling the beans, guys!), but after a few jokes they relaxed and look at these beautiful images that we created together! And if you know me, you know I can’t tell a joke to save my life 😂 I would have to say, about 90% of my clients start off by saying things like, “I am so not photogenic!” or “I really hate having my photo taken.”, but to be honest, a great photograph is given, not taken. And I think that Devin and Cole did just great at giving an excellent portrait, don’t you?!
