Halloween is one of my absolute favourite holidays! I have fond memories of planning and executing Halloween costumes as a kid. And then later when I was old enough to carve my own pumpkins, it just sweetened the deal 😆🎃 In my late teens, my Mum started carving these intricate designs into our pumpkins. So the challenge was to try that myself. Since having my own kids though, it’s back to the quick traditional carve style instead 😂 Even though we live in the country now, we still carve pumpkins with the kids and decorate the inside of our house. Some traditions are hard to break.
But this year, I got a little creative outside of the house. A friend had tagged me in a video post on Facebook that was advertising smoke bombs for video use. It spurred the idea for me to create something fun and colourful with my girls for Halloween! Even though I watched a bunch of videos online before purchasing, I didn’t quite know what to expect when we actually put them into action. We tried the orange smoke bomb first, and I think the results speak for themselves 😆 I was calling my girls out of the cloud by the end, but it was like they were frozen to the spot. No one was harmed, and we had a good laugh after. Though, C had had enough and sat out of round two (the purple). R had a blast and she can’t wait to try it again for something new in the future.
I hope that you all have a wonderful and safe Halloween 2019!
