Golden Light Portrait

The light we had during this beautiful family’s portrait was simply stunning. I mean, just look at that golden glow! This was late fall, end of October, and the trees had no green left. They were golden and read in all their glory. This beautiful location is at their tree farm property. When I arrived, I was delighted to discover the rows of trees with this golden light filtering through. It was a cold and windy Sunday afternoon, and I was sure we were going to be rained on. But lo and behold, the rain held off long enough to create some lovely keepsakes this family will cherish forever.

Lighthearted Fun

These kids were a hoot to work with. I enjoy working with kids and getting them in on the action to help create some fun and creative poses. These guys were totally up for it and even offered some ideas of their own. I find that is always an excellent way to get everyone involved and having fun! Plus, a lot of times it creates amazing candid style images that parents are sure to love.
