It was a hot and muggy Tuesday morning when Julie and Dana came to the studio for their lifestyle family portrait. And I mean HOT. I think it was one of the hottest August days we had this summer! Of course it is chilly, wet and windy as I type this… so now I am wishing it were as hot as it was that August morning ;)
Their little girl was getting ready to celebrate her first birthday, and Julie contacted me to set up a shoot for the family, but also a few shots of just the birthday girl. She brought an adorable balloon (that she got from Sugar FX in Uxbridge), and we went off to a corner of the field that had this beautiful open shade. After we captured her adorable little girl, we spent some time creating some lifestyle images of the family. And I mean, how beautiful is this family?! Even their outfit styling was on point.
I love how all the images turned out. There was a great mix of candids and posed shots. And I hope they hang proudly on their walls for many, many years to come.
